On Thursday August 6th, was the second of our series of round-table workshops about NMR operations. This session address some of the new approaches for user training that have been made necessary by social-distancing requirements.
Ryan McKay of the University of Edmonton lead the panel. Geneviève Seabrook of the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre spoke about her experience with direct training using PPE. Ken Knott of Virginia Tech discussed his approach with remote spectrometer control and Michelle Forgeron of the University of Calgary talked about the use of Zoom. The panel also includes Hillary Jenkins of McMaster University.
