The IVAN Live @ ENC on April 06, 2024, was as great success. The day was dedicated to a Benchtop NMR Symposium.
Vendors of benchtop NMR systems, including Bruker, Magritek, Nanalysis, Oxford and Q Magnetics, Presented. Vendors Spoke about their new benchtop NMR technologies and we also heard talks from their users’ demonstrating applications and use. The days first presentation started at 8:40am with “Developing Benchtop NMR Spectrometry into QC and PAT”, Hector Roberts, Magritek.
Next up was “Benchtop NMR to Support Small-molecule Pharmaceutical Process Development”, Jose Napolitano, Genentech.
Up third we heard from Nayalysis on “Advances in Benchtop NMR and Recent Industrial Applications”, presented by Sussie Reigel
Fourth was “Analysis of Lignins Using 31P Benchtop NMR: Quantitative Assessment of Substructures and Comparison to High-field NMR”, Ian Burton, NRC Canada.
Presentation number five was “A New Direction for Benchtop NMR from Q Magnetics”, John Price, Q Magnetics.
The presentation just before lunch was from Brandon English, Red Rocks College on “Academic and Industrial Applications of Benchtop NMR in Colorado”
The afternoon session began with “Flexible Benchtop Time-domain NMR for Materials Analysis”, Kevin Nott, Oxford Instruments.
Second after lunch was “Fourier 80 and Its Applications”, Colin Elliot, Bruker.
After the return from the afternoon break, we heard from “Benchtop NMR for Environmental Science”, Ronald Soong, University of Toronto.
And the last presentation of the day “Basics to Benchtop”, Krish Krishnamurthy, Chempacker, LLC.
